Ouse Valley Viaduct, Hayward's Heath
We were contracted in by B&M McHugh on behalf of network rail, to carry out a tap test survey on ‘Ouse Valley Viaduct’. The survey consisted of tap testing the over-sail course, arch rings, spandrel and parapet wall with nylon hammers.
The Highest point of the viaduct is 96-meters tall and with the use of battery powered ascenders this made climbing the structure very easy, it was also a good way to save time.
Ouse Valley Viaduct is a famous landmark in West Sussex, South East Abseiling had the privilege of conducting work on it.
